About Us

Company History: Stiles Fuel was started in 1962 by Robert Stiles, a native of New Hampshire. Bob -- as he is known to the locals -- started with one oil truck and a lot of ambition. After a few years of working a full-time job and selling oil part-time, the company began to grow, and Bob's brother Fred joined the Stiles Fuel.

Together, they built a company that today sells over 4 million gallons of fuel and propane each year, as well as providing heating installations, and 24/7 service to people all over the North Country.

Fred Stiles retired in 1999 and Bob remains a consultant to this day. Vicki Stiles Gunderson and her husband Paul joined the business in 1999 and manage both the fuel oil company and the 3 North Mini Mart, which serves fresh hot coffee and sandwiches. Each year has brought new ideas and changes as we add new employees, new technology, and continue to grow. Stiles Fuel has two locations, our main office in Littleton and our office in Whitefield.
